Greek Temples

The Parthenon


Most ancient Greek temples were 2 times as long as they were wide. The Greek architects first developed the idea of columns holding up the ceiling and was specially planed. There were different kinds of temples there were small temples like this:

Naos is where the people used to come in and pray to their gods. There were lots of different temples that were made in favour of their main god that they worshipped.
