Mesopotamian Architecture

Mesopotamia is an ancient period of architecture which was founded in the 6th century BC around the area of Turkey. Mesopotamia developed the early stages of urban planning, courtyard and ziggurats. It also made mud-brick construction popular, which in later stages was used to build the Great Pyramids of Giza and stadiums such as The Olympic Stadium in Athens. Furthermore they also started using it more to build temples and walls. The Mesopotamian period saw a variety of great walls and beautiful gates that helped develop new structures and ideas in later periods of Architecture
